The International Silver Company was founded in 1898 in Meriden, Connecticut, USA. The company was one of the largest silverware producers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Among their famous patterns are “Chrysanthemum”, “Renaissance”, and “Grande Baroque”.
Collaborations with famous designers like Gorham and Wallace helped the company to stay in the forefront of design trends. International Silver managed to survive the Great Depression and continued to produce silver wares until production ceased in 1983.
