Famille Rose ("Rose Family") is a type of Chinese porcelain introduced in the 18th Century and defined by a pink overglaze enamel.  The color palette is  predominantly pink, white, yellow and green. Famille Rose pieces became very popular for export to the West and remain favorites to this day.
