Victorian light fixtures highlight the styles popular during the reign of Queen Victoria of England, from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s.  These light fixtures were often used in what was then called the parlor or drawing room (today's living room).  Brass was used in the Victorian age for its durablity and as a symbol of sophistication.
