Famille Rose ("Rose Family") is a type of Chinese porcelain introduced in the 18th Century and defined by a pink overglaze enamel. The colors are predominantly pink, white, yellow and green. Famille Rose pieces became very popular for export to the West.

 

Scholar’s screens were decorative pieces used on the desks of influential Chinese scholars.  They were made of two parts: a panel and a holding stand.
