During his lifetime, Beau Brummell (1778-1840) was for many years the arbiter of British men's fashion and good taste.  To some, he was a dandy, one who pays particular attention to his dress, manners, and appearance-status as an extremely stylish man.

This dressing table contains a mirror and numerous small storage compartments and all of this can be conveniently hidden away when the flanking top pieces of the table are closed.
