Antique English Minton Wall Pocket

Height: 11 1/2 inches   Diameter: 6 inches

Minton (1793-2005) was a major figure in the Staffordshire Pottery.  During the Victorian era, it was Europe’s leading ceramic factory.

This wall pocket, or pottery vase,  was most probably hung on a wall in the kitchen area.  As it is ceramic, it can hold water to keep flowers alive.
