Aubusson tapestries are manufactured in the city bearing their name, an Alpine town not far from Limoges in central France.   has been associated with fine carpets and tapestries since the 1600s. Artists working at the factory found a way to weave using depth perception to create visually impressive textiles.  Many tapestries have religious, mythological, historical or nature themes. They are true works of art.
