Antique French Louis XVI Walnut 3 Door Armoire with Beveled Mirrors, Circa 1890

Height: 103 1/2 inches  Width: 72 inches  Depth: 22 1/2 inches

An armoire is a large, freestanding storage cupboard or cabinet with one or two doors.  They were often used to store clothing, although many were modified for other purposes. Armoires have their origins in late 16th century France.

Antique beveled glass refers to an ancient glassmaking process where the edges of glass are cut and polished at an angle to create a beveled edge.  Beveling enhances the reflection of light and adds a decorative touch to the glass.  This process was commonly used in mirrors, windows and doors, especially in the Victorian era.
