Vieux Paris or Old Paris porcelain thrived in the Paris factories between 1770 and 1850.

 

Often inspired by Sevres pieces, Vieux Paris porcelain was simple but sported vibrant colors.  Decorations followed neoclassical and romantic lines.  Gilding was also used to add luxury to these pieces.
