Jeroboams are large wine bottles, typically holding 3 liters of wine, an equivalent of 4 standard bottles. Jeroboams age more slowly due to a lower oxygen to wine ration.  

 

Wine coasters were originally developed in order to slide bottles across the table during fancy dinner gatherings. They also protected dining tables from condensation and spills.
