Nodders are an early form of bobblheads, with figures whose heads and sometimes hand moved via a spring or a cord when touched.

 

Bisque porcelain, sometimes called biscuit porcelain or simply bisque, is unglazed, white porcelain with a matte appearance and texture to the touch.  It is easily painted and decorated.
