Pair of Antique French Bisque Figure Lamps, Circa 1890-1910

Bisque porcelain, sometimes called biscuit porcelain or simply bisque, is unglazed, white porcelain with a matte appearance and texture to the touch.  These figures were sealed with a glaze after the initial firing so they were no longer porous.
