Coalport, England, was a center of porcelain and pottery production from the late 1800s until 1926, with the brand continuing today under the Wedgwood name. Coalport was well known for its dinner services, mostly done with elaborate overglazes and floral or pastoral designs. The company borrowed colors and decorative elements from other porcelain makers, including a strong cobalt blue and gold combination. Coalport remains very collectible today.
