The largest height of the 4 figurines is 8 3/4 inches, the widest 6 1/4 inches and the deepest 4 1/2 inches

 

 

French aristocrats and upper society used porcelain figurines on their dining tables as a symbol of wealth, status and refinement.  These hand-painted and decorated pieces were considered miniature masterpieces, intended to entertain and impress guests.  Porcelain figurines came in many shapes and styles but all were considered luxury items.
