Royal Crown Derby is an English company that has manufactured porcelain and fine bone china since approximately 1750.  It was known as "Derby Porcelain" until 1773, then "Crown Derby", and the "Royal" was added in 1890 at the time Queen Victoria awarded the company the Royal Warrant.
