Copeland Spode is a fine antique British porcelain. Spode was established in 1770 and bought in 1883 by two men, one of whom had the last name of Copeland. The mark was then changed to Copeland Spode, but despite the change, many pieces continued to bear the name Spode.

J.F. Herring (1795-1865) was an English painter known for his horse portraits and paintings, which were widely reproduced.
